Eleanor R. Foley, of Waltham formerly of Somerville and Lexington, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of 93 at the Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. Born in the Brighton section of Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J. and Helen T. (Murphy) Foley.
Eleanor is the cherished sister of Catherine F. Cheatham, the late Fr. James F. Foley CssR, Anna May (Winchenbach) Bradley, Frances E. O'Rourke, David X. Foley, Daniel J. Foley, and Mercedes A. Walsh. Sister-in-law of Theresa Foley. She was also the loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 16th, at St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and meet directly at the church. Services will conclude with burial at Cambridge City Cemetery, Cambridge.
