Nancy S. Flynn, 70

Nancy S. (Shadley) Flynn, age 70, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her adoring family on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Flynn.
Born in Cambridge, MA on April 21, 1954, she was a loving daughter of the late John P. and Jean M. (Maher) Shadley.
Nancy grew up in the Town of Randolph, was a 1972 graduate of Randolph High School and received her associate degree from Massasoit Community College. She was a former member of the 27th Lancers Drum & Bugle Corp and had made her home in Mansfield for the past thirty-two years.
Nancy had a lifelong passion for music and had worked as a Marketing Executive at BMG in Braintree. She was formerly employed at RCA Records, A&M Records, Arista Records, as well as at Jive Records. Her family was the stitches of her life and Nancy’s happy place was being in Plymouth, where she created lifelong memories with her family at their camp on Curlew Pond and while enjoying the beauty and soaking up the sun at Manomet Point Beach.
Nancy’s other favorite times those were spent at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire, playing tennis, antiquing and the Christmas holiday season. She also had a zest for arts and will always be fondly remembered for the special place in her heart she had for animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children, McKenzie M. Siciliano and her husband James of Norton and Kelsey K. Flynn and her husband Jameson Brown of Jamaica Plain. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Tanner and Blake Siciliano. She was the dear sister of Ed Phillips and his wife Sue of Washington, DC, Mark Shadley and his wife Erin of Hanson, Jim Shadley and his wife Pam of Bridgewater, Don Shadley and his wife Gigi of Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, Paul Shadley and his wife Karen of Hanson, Susan Kelleher of Canton, Beverly Shadley and her wife Carina Self of Dover, New Hampshire and the late Laura Shadley. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and “Gus The Cat”.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, September 20th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street in Mansfield.
Her burial will take place on Saturday, September 21st at 11:00 A.M. at Manomet Cemetery, 19 White Horse Road in Plymouth.
