George F. Burt, age 93, passed away on September 06, 2024, in Beverly MA. George was born on February 22, 1931 in Boston, MA.
George was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he served in Munich Germany as a forward observer.
George and his late wife, Jean Burt, had been residents of Nahant Ma for many years and then moved to Weymouth MA for almost 40 years. George and Jean had been married for 57 years.
He is survived by his three children, George Burt Jr., Alice Byard and Richard Burt.
George was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
George was a speed boat enthusiast all his life and had owned many boats over his lifetime. He would frequent The Boston Harbor Islands with his family for camping trips over the years.
