Rogers W. Levesque, 86, of Greenville, died Monday, September 9, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of Evelyn (Kelly) Levesque. They had been married for 37 years.
Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Walter and Victoria (Sokolowski) Levesque.
Rogers was the Head Shipper for Ansons Jewelry in Providence for many years. Then he went on to work as general manager at Crugnale Bakeries, later known as Bread Unlimited. He retired from Bread Unlimited.
Rogers was a wonderful husband and grandfather. He lit candles and prayed the Rosary for many people. He was a person who did good deeds when no one was looking.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his grandchildren: Brandon and Alison Levesque, both of East Providence, his great granddaughter: Rosalie Malardo, his daughter in law, Maria Levesque, his stepchildren and their families: Robert and Jane Teto, Linda Rossi, Robin and Rick Pasquazzi, his step granddaughter: Lori Reilly, step great grandchildren: Juliet and Angel Reilly, and Adriel Bettencourt. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Paul Levesque and his step granddaughter, Maryanne Teto.
His funeral will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick. Visitation will be Friday, September 13th from 8-9:30am. Please omit flowers.
