Robert (Bob) Lee Hazzard, Jr., age 69, passed away on September 2, 2024 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center from heart complications.
He was born September 23, 1954 to Robert and Donna (Tinker) Hazzard at Trippler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School in 1973. He was proud to be a (Mel) “Bowden Boy”.
He retired in 2020 after 36 years with WA State Department of Transportation, working on the striping crew in the spring, summer and fall and snow plowing in the winter. He owned and operated Dukes of Hazzard Lawn Care Service with the help of his family.
He was married, baptized and attended LifePoint Church in Prosser. He was a member of the Sons of Am Vets Post 99 in Prosser and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2647 in Prosser. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the water and the ocean
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Marcia; his son, Michael and wife Randie (Miller) and their two daughters, Mylee and McKinlee; son, Brian and his two children, Lily and Levi; daughter, Shannon and husband Steve Maxwell and their two daughter, Ava and Scarlett; brothers, Jerry, Paul, Roger and sister, Linda along with several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces throughout the valley.
