Eleanor F. (Simmons) Mosher, 94, of Brockton, formerly of Whitman passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Eleanor was born January 4, 1930 in Whitman to her late parents Elton and Martha (Flockerzi) Simmons. She attended Whitman High School and was a class of 1947 graduate. Eleanor participated in Glee Club while in school, which she excelled in, she was voted the best girl singer of her class. In her younger years, after high school she worked at the Bostonian Shoe Company. Eleanor worked there for several years before she settled down and had her own family.
Some of Eleanor’s interests were reading and bird watching. But above all else, her favorite way to spend her time was with her family.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Karen Mosher of Whitman, and her son Kevin Mosher and his companion Dottie Davis of Weymouth.
Eleanor is predeceased by her siblings Elmer and Kenneth Simmons, and Marion Ehlert.
