HOGAN, William “Bill” Patrick Hogan of Falmouth, MA passed away on August 31, 2024, with his wife Mary at his side.
Bill was born in Roxbury on May 3, 1936, to Muriel (Ferguson) Hogan and Laurence Hogan. He graduated from Commerce High School in Boston and went on to work for many years at Teamsters Local 25 as a freight handler and truck driver. After his retirement from Local 25, Bill drove a school bus for the Boston Public Schools until he and Mary retired to Falmouth, MA.
Bill leaves his wife Mary (McAteer) Hogan of 35 years and his favorite furry companion Rosie. Bill was predeceased by his parents Muriel and Laurence and his siblings Laurence, Frank, Freddie, Marilyn, Eddie and Bobby.
A Funeral Service will be held in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Wednesday, September 11th at 12:00pm.
Followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
It is both Mary and Bill’s wish that instead of flowers, think about a donation in Bill’s name to the Alzheimer’s Family Support Center, 2095 Main St., Brewster, MA 02631.
We would like to thank the nurses and CNAs at Royal Megansett in North Falmouth and Continuum Hospice for their care and compassion given to Bill during these last six months. Their dedication to the care of all their patients showed during their daily activities.
