Henry Claude Joseph, 81, born on September 1, 1943, Cap-Haitien, Haiti, son of the late Charles Alexis Joseph and Marie Anelia Belony Joseph, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Boston, MA.
Henry received his primary education in Freres de L’Instruction Chrétienne in Cap-Haitian and
secondary education Lycée Philippe Guerrier, then he later moved to Port-au-Prince where he worked and started his family.
In 1980, Henry moved to the United States, settling in Boston, MA.
Henry was hard-working. He was trained at the Baptist Hospital of Miami as an OR orderly and OR technician, and Certified Nursing Assistant . He worked two jobs for over 20 years to support his family in the U.S. and in Haiti.
Henry loved to visit his country of birth, Haiti and giving to others in need. Henry was a generous man who could not stand to watch anyone go without essentials. He leaves behind a legacy of giving to those in need and love for his family and his friends.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Marie Jeanette Joseph (Ti Yotte); his children, Jean- Claude Joseph, Shirley Joseph and Santhia Joseph Cene of Miramar, FL. He leaves behind 4 siblings, Michel Alexis Joseph, Roland Joseph, Nicole Joseph, Rose Lumene Durand. He is predeceased by his siblings Rene Francois Joseph and Ghislaine Joseph.
Cherishing his memory are his 6 grandchildren: Vanessa Rochelle Joseph, Patrick Ralph Succes, Sabrina Succes, Giovanni Samuel Joseph, Joshua Kelly Miscadyn and Isabella Pierre-Louis. Henry will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend viewing hour on Saturday September 28, 2024 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Religious Service from 9:30-11 AM in the First Haitian Baptist Church, 397 Blue Hill Ave, Boston. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, MA.
