Obituary



Karen G. (Rodberg) Correnti, of Medford, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, August 31st at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was 68. Raised in Quincy, Karen was the daughter of the late Sidney C. and Norma L. (Botman) Rodberg. After graduating from high school, Karen went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from Bridgewater State. She worked for many years at Tufts University in Medford where she was an administrator in the Health Services Department.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to garden and spend time in the sun by her pool. Performing at the Cotton Bowl with her high school band, Karen “caught the travel bug” and always looked forward to travelling throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Over the years she devoted her time to helping organize and lead the Wellington Glenwood Little League. Remembered for her kindness, generosity and sensitivity, she will be missed by those who knew her.

The beloved wife of Angelo J. Correnti, Karen was a devoted mother to Danielle Correnti and Anthony Michael Correnti. She was a loving grandmother to Hannah Rose Correnti and Nicolas Charles Correnti, and recently welcomed her beloved great-granddaughter Rylee Lynn Robinson. Karen was the dear sister of Neil J. Rodberg and his wife Caroline and David E. Rodberg and his wife Lorna. She was the sister-in-law of Joanne Lena, Marie Annaloro and Josephine Komorny. She was also a proud aunt to Samuel and his wife Meaghan, Dara, Conor, Nicole, Mikayla, Isabella, Gianna and Gabriella.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday September 4th at 1 PM followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
