Obituary

Nora (Cryan) Kilraine of Dedham and formerly of Watertown and Count Roscommon, Ireland died on Wednesday, July 26 at the Eastwood Care Center in Dedham. She was 91 years old. Born in County Roscommon, Ireland, Nora came to the United States in 1965, settling in Watertown. Nora was an active member of Saint Patrick’s Parish and the Irish Music Club. The beloved wife of the late Thomas Kilraine, she was the dear mother of Mary Mulligan and her husband Bernard of Dedham, Kitty Ward and her husband Sean of Watertown, Patricia McGonagle and her husband John of Dorchester and Sean Kilraine and his wife Angela of Chicago IL. Sister of Michael Higgins of Co. Roscommon, Ireland and the late Nellie Colton and Molly Grennan. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Eaton and Mackay Funeral Home 465 Center St, NEWTON CORNER, on Monday July 31 at 9:00 Am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham. In lieu of flowers donations in Nora’s name may be made to the Eastwood Care Center Resident Activity Fund, 1007 East St, Dedham MA 02026.
