Carol Lee Burrill (capreralla), 80, of Bridgewater Massachusetts Died on August 30, 2024, at Good Samaritan hospital in Brockton, MA. With family by her side after a battle with dementia.
Born and raised in East Boston in 1943, she was the 2nd daughter of Gerry and Florence (Paldo)Capreralla. She went to school in East Boston, then got a teacher's aidedegree and worked at Boston public schools for a few years till 1975. Carol then continued her work at Boston Frozen Foods as an account manager till 1978. She then obtained a job with the Rockland school Department, first as a teacher's aide and Detention monitor. After a year or 2 she secured the job of secretary to the Superintendent of Rockland schools balancing budgets for over 25 yrs. She was also the treasurer for the mass. teacher's association. Occasionally she would help with the budgeting for the town of Rockland. Carol retired from the school department after 27 yrs. During her time at Rockland, Carol met and helped a lot of people in the school department. She would set up retiring teachers' retirement to make sure they got all they could. One person she met who would end up being Carols best friend for the last 45 years is Franny Damon. They would do a lot together, traveling to Florida to visit their dear friend Andrea, bus trips to casinos, cruises and lots of lunches.
She was the wife of Roy Burrill for 18 years, the sister of Maryanne Interbartolo of revere, the late (Donny capreralla, and Anthony(Capreralla.) Sisters Barbara Fabiano, Sandra Curley. Grandmother to 5 grandchildren, Justin Burrill, Hanna Burrill, the late Roy Burrill the 4th, Olivia Olson, Curt Olson jr. and 4 great-grandchildren whom she adored, Jayce Burrill, Ivy Burrill, Fox Burrill, and Odin Burrill. Daughter in-law Kasey Burrill,Carol leaves behind her 3 children son, Roy Burrill of Bridgewater, Eric Burrill of Hanson, and Alicia Olson of Middleboro.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday Sept 4th 10am at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Followed by a burial in Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, September 3rd 5-7pm at the funeral chapel.
