Burgess Arthur M. of Dorchester, MA passed away suddenly on August 28, 2024. Son of the late Josephine Burgess Burkett and Arthur Burgess. Husband of the late Lori Arena Burgess. Father of Kimberly, Erin, and Zoie Burgess. Grandfather of Alexis Maddrey. Brother of Donna Burgess of Quincy, Norma Aldorno of Maine, Bobby Burgess and his wife Kellie of Middleboro, Joanne Merrill and her husband Rick of Florida.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Arthur was a proud member and employee of Teamsters Local 25.
Visiting hours will be held on September 13th, from 9-10:30 AM at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester St in South Boston followed by a mass at St. Brigid’s church located on 841 East Broadway in South Boston.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer association.
