Deborah Jean Frost, 64, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, after a long fought, courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 11, 1960, in Lowell, Massachusetts. Deborah was the cherished daughter of the late Lewis Frost and the late Ruth Frost. She grew up in Lowell, where she was educated in Lowell Public Schools, before relocating to California, where she attended high school. Deborah eventually returned to Lowell to start a family and a lifelong career in the medical administrative field.
Deborah had an unforgettable laugh, the best sense of humor, an avid love for animals, music, and books. Which she passed down to her children. Especially Classic Rock and anything by Stephen King. Deborah was a devoted Boston Bruins fan. She took great pride in cheering on her team with her beloved beagle, Lily. Lily brought her so much comfort and companionship over the years.
Known for her relentless work ethic, Deborah was a diligent and dedicated worker throughout her life. She began working at Wang Laboratories as a teenager, until the company shut down and she transitioned to Medical Billing with Aetna and UMass Medical Center at Tewksbury Hospital. Throughout her career, she made lifelong friendships that meant so much to her.
Deborah enjoyed time with friends and family. She loved hosting family dinners for the holidays. She loved to cook and passed down her favorite recipes to her children. Her time with her children was always the most sacred time for her. Her children and grandchildren made it possible for her to achieve goals such as going to Las Vegas, NYC, Florida, Virginia Beach, and walking through the streets of Boston. Deborah loved boating and being on the water. She was an active participant in her Catholic faith, making her Cursillo in 2011, attending Bible Study groups, and most recently Consecrating her heart to Jesus in 2023.
Deborah is survived by her four children: Lawrence Perry and his significant other Joannie Bagnulo, Tara Perry and her significant other, Daniel Silva, Tiffany Perry and her significant other, Walter Norton, and Jordan Perry. She was the proud grandmother of Alexia Sheehan, Jason Whalen, and Alfred Perry. Deborah also leaves behind her beloved sisters: Sue Early, Connie Georgeou, and Diane Erickson and her companion Vern Wright. Deborah leaves behind her dear friends and sister in-laws: Beverly Perry, Patsy Perry, Paula Roddy, and Irene Souza. Deborah was the best Aunt to many nieces and nephews, whom she adored. Deborah was surrounded by the best of friends at Rogers Hall, especially her friend, Helen, who took care of her dog and always made sure to check in on her daily.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Frost and Lewis Frost.
The family would like to thank the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, her Oncology team, the wonderful nurses, as well as her in-home care team through Tufts Hospice Care, all of whom, made it possible for Deborah’s final wish - to take her last breath at home, surrounded by her family.
It was always Deborah’s dream to volunteer at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen, when she retired. Due to Deb’s hard fight with treatments and surgeries, she was not able to do so.
