Christine Cushing, 69 a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Lowell on November 30, 1954 and was a daughter of the late Justin A. Cushing of Lowell and the late Lorraine A. ‘Lee’ (Soulard) Cushing off Winter Park, FL.
She worked at Cappy's Copper Kettle for over 42 years, as the longest tenured bartender in the City of Lowell.
Christine is survived by two sisters, Maureen (Cushing) Cormier of N. Andover, MA and Colleen A. (Cushing) Morris and her husband, Rick Morris of Stroudsburg, PA; a nephew, Christopher Cormier of Iowa; two great-nephews, Nicholas DiMichele, U.S. Army, of Washington, D.C. and Justin DiMichele, U.S. Army, of Georgia; and many beloved cousins and extended family.
She was predeceased by two sisters, the late Justine Cushing of Lowell and the late Kathleen M. (Cushing) DiMichele of N.Y.; and a brother, the late Richard J. Cushing of N.J.; and a nephew, the late Joseph DiMichele of AZ.
