Jacqueline (Lavigne) DuBois, age 89, passed away on August 22, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Nov. 7, 1934 in Chicopee, daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian (Thetreault) Lavigne. Jacqueline was a communicant of the former St Patrick’s Parish. She worked as a nurse for several years at the former Medical West, Chicopee, was on the Chicopee Board of Registrar, and was a Board Member of the former Chicopee Visiting Nurse Association. Jacqueline loved spending her summers as a resident of Belchertown on Lake Metacomet. She is survived by three daughters, Joelle DuBois-Michigan and her husband Martin of Kingston, NH, Amy DuBois Zwaan and her husband Johan of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Ann DuBois Tabb of Enfield, CT; seven grandchildren, Kate DuBois Ferraiolo and her husband James Ferraiolo. Nicholas Zwaan and his wife Courtney Zwaan, Hannah Kozlowski and her husband Nicholas Kozlowski, Capt. Michael Tabb and his Fiancé Emily Borges, Jack Tabb, Kelly Tabb and Lilly Tabb. She also leaves one beloved great grandchild, Kennedy Rose Zwaan. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wednesday, Sept.4, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Springfield at 12:00 PM.
