Jean D. (O’Leary) Ramos, age 68, of Norton, passed away comfortably at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Manuel G. Ramos, Jr., to whom she was wed on December 14, 1974.
Born in Brockton, MA on May 27, 1956, she was a loving daughter of the late Louis L. and Ethel E. (Kelso) O’Leary.
Jean grew up in the Town of Foxborough and was a 1974 graduate of Foxborough High School. She had been a resident of Norton for the past fifty years and her working career was spent at Rodman Ford in Foxborough as a Payroll Administrator.
A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, Mrs. Ramos’s happiest times were those spent in the presence of her adoring husband, children, grandchildren and the dogs she loved so much throughout her life. Jean was an avid reader and loved taking in the beauty of the ocean, especially with family in Wells, Maine.
In addition to her beloved husband of nearly fifty years, she is survived by her cherished and devoted children, Lisa J. Glass and her longtime partner Allan George of Norton and Mark M. Ramos and his wife Nicole of Windham, New Hampshire. She was the treasured and much-loved grandmother of Robert L. “Bobby” Glass of Norton, Riley E. Glass of Norton, Cayden M. Glass of Norton, Elyse C. “Ellie” Ramos of Windham, New Hampshire and Ryker J. Ramos of Windham, New Hampshire. She is also survived by her loving extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 29th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Thursday evening at 8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
