Michel Decossa, 67, of Pestel Haiti, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. Born March 19, 1957 in Pestel, Michel was the beloved son of Lucienne Moreau, Muller Decossa.
Michel was a server known for his sense of humor, free spirited personality, ambition, life of the party and fight to the end attitude. He dedicated his life to helping others achieve a better life as a school teacher, pastor, friend, devoted husband, father, as well as grandfather.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michel was cherished by family and friends for his unwavering loyalty, compassionate spirit, generous heart, warm hospitality, infectious smile and boisterous attitude. He found great joy in enjoying life, hanging out with friends, and special life moments with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Michel is survived by his wife Gladys Decossa; his children, Rolande Decossa, Robinson Decossa, Adiellsy Decossa, Albertine Decossa, Ynelda Decossa, Amelita Decossa, Daphnee Decossa; 14 Grandchildren; siblings,Marie-Andre Decossa, Roselaine Jean-Pierre, Kesnel Jean; several nieces and nephews.
May Michel’s soul rest in peace and his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hours on Wednesday August 28, 2024 from 9-10 AM followed by a Religious Service from 10-11:30 AM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA.
