Nancy M. Goodwin, 55, of Val Jean Drive, Greenville, died Thursday, August 22, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice in Providence. She was the wife of Paul D. Goodwin. They had been married for 18 years.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Clary) Nichols. She had lived in Smithfield R.I. since 2005 and had previously lived in Waltham Massachusetts.
Besides her husband, Nancy is survived by her two sons: Tanner Robert Goodwin and Cole Charles Goodwin and her cousins; Torin DeVitto and Tania Berrigan.
Nancy’s greatest joy in life was being a stay at home mom for her two boys, Tanner and Cole, whom she loved with all her heart. Her world revolved around their activities. She was a main stay in the St. Phillips School community for many years, a great friend to everyone, and a lover of going to Bruins games, Red Sox games, or a night out with the girls. She was also a Hockey Mom, a role she embraced with enthusiasm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday August 28th at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown, MA. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27th from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
