PORTLAND- James E. Merrill, age 84, passed away on Aug. 21, 2024, at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth.
He was born in Cumberland, Maine on July 23, 1940, and was raised on a large farm in Cumberland.
Throughout most of his working years, Jim was employed as a truck driver for JJ Nissen. He was a member of the Teamsters.
He enjoyed traveling, motorcycling, photography, and being with his cat- Coupie.
Jim is predeceased by his wife Charlotte in 2023 and is survived by his stepdaughter Heather Poore.
A service for Jim and his wife Charlotte are upcoming.
