Obituary

SOUTH PORTLAND- Kaylin Cynthia Wilcox
February 18, 1996 - August 20, 2024
Kaylin Cynthia Wilcox, 28, of South Portland, Maine passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on August 20th. She was born on February 18, 1996 along with her twin brother William “Billy” Wilcox jr. in Portland Maine to William Wilcox Sr. and Jessica Roberts. The majority of her schooling was in Westbrook, where she grew up but she also attended school in Gray and Portland, Maine. Those who knew Kaylin remembered her for her infectious laugh, goofy personality and her beautiful blonde hair and dimples. She was a kind soul with a great sense of humor.
Kaylin grew up in Westbrook where she met some of her lifelong friends. Her best friend, though, was her twin brother William Wilcox Jr. The two of them were inseparable and always had a strong bond. Her childhood was filled with memories of swimming, bike riding, pulling all-nighters, Disney movies and belly laughs. She was always smiling and lit up every room she entered.
As an adult Kaylin worked various jobs in hospitality but she was most proud of becoming a CNA. She was kind, caring and gentle and the work fit her.
Kaylin had a love for vehicles and it was often a surprise which vehicle she would get next. Some other things Kaylin loved most were hanging out with her family, eating ice cream, watching “Catfish” , swimming, BBQ’s and a good time. She became a mother to her son, Maverick, in 2023 and loved him so much.
Kaylin will always be remembered for her resilience, her bubbly personality, and big heart. We couldn’t have asked for a better daughter, sibling, cousin or friend and we will miss her everyday. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
Kaylin was preceded in death by her father William Wilcox Sr. Uncle, Douglas Wilcox, Uncle, Nickolas Patenaude, Grandfather, Avon William Wilcox, and her Grandmother, Cynthia Wilcox. She is survived by her maternal Grandmother, Victoria Russell, Mother, Jessica Roberts, Step mother Amy Limanni, Twin brother William Wilcox Jr. Siblings Sean, Natasha, Dana, and Noah;her Aunts Alyssa and Adrienne; Uncles; Chris, Joe, Mike and Freddie; Her cousins Brandi, Kevin, Parker, Nyla, Douglas, Dylan and Jacie, Lucas, Natalia and her beautiful son, Maverick.
