Ruth Trachtenberg Siegel was born on February 9, 1940 and passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2024, at the age of 84.
A resident of Ashland, Massachusetts, Ruth was a vibrant and loving woman, known for her sharp wit, feisty spirit, and infectious zest for life. She had a way of making every moment lively and fun, with a personality as bold as her signature bright red lipstick. Whether she was playing Mah-Jong with her dear friends, enjoying great food, or sharing a laugh with those she loved, Ruth brought joy to all who knew her.
Ruth found great joy in her travels to Aruba, Florida, Las Vegas and one of her most cherished memories was traveling to Vancouver and Alaska with her son Chuck and daughter-in-law Karen, where they explored the natural beauty and shared unforgettable moments together. Additionally, Ruth held dear her regular outings to the Boston Pops with Karen, which were always filled with music, laughter, and connection.
Ruth had a unique ability to find humor in any situation, and her laughter was contagious, making her a cherished friend and confidant to many. Ruth is survived by her devoted son Chuck Siegel, her loving daughter-in-law Karen, and her cherished dog Chico, who was her constant companion.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, a private service will be held.
