Shirley Thompson Cloutier, 92, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in the Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford, NH. She was born on May 27, 1932 in New Britain, CT, a daughter of the late Lester and Alice (Marincsin) Thompson. She was a resident of New Britain, CT for over 60 years, before moving to Londonderry in 1994. Shirley worked as the office manager at Advest in New Britain CT for many years. She was an excellent sketch artist and enjoyed ceramics providing every child, grandchild, great grandchild and great great grandchild with a uniquely designed ceramic Christmas tree. She was an active member of the Londonderry Senior Citizens for many years where she developed cherished friendships. Shirley had a strong Catholic faith which was very important to her. But the most important thing in Shirley’s life was her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Catenzaro and her husband John and Sharon Carfi and her husband Jack; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grand grandchild, her sister, Joyce Skwiot and her husband Jeffrey, as well as her nephew and his family.
Calling hours will be held on Monday August 26, 2024 from 4 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 27th at 11:00am in the Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, CT.
