Craig Joe Boutin, age 53, passed away on August 16, 2024. He was born on Oct. 27, 1970 in Holyoke. He was a graduate of Westfield High School, Class of 1988. He loved to golf and also worked as the Assistant Superintendent for the Springfield Country Club. He was an avid sports fan but especially loved the Red Sox and Patriots. He was blessed with them winning the World Series on his Birthday. He is survived by his loving parents, George Boutin of Chicopee and Susan Bednar and her husband Joseph Bednar of Holly Ridge, NC; brothers, Alan Bednar of Holyoke, and Joseph Bednar and wife Jennifer of Chicopee; sisters, Michelle Boutin of Holly Ridge, NC, and Lorianne Gasparrini, and husband Mark of Concord, NC; two aunts, Jean Boutin of Hatfield and Annette Boutin of Greenfield; one Uncle, Richard Bator of Chicopee along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends, especially Shawnte Blackshear and Sam Jusino, who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his uncle Donald Bator. A Celebration of life will be held on August, 22, 2024 from 4 - 6 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at a later date.
