It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darrin Quintana on Wednesday, 7/31/24, a beloved dad, papa, son, brother, and uncle. Darrin was born on 11/1/1965 in Ventura, California to Conrad and Jane Quintana and was the younger brother to Conrad Quintana Jr. He was the proud father of Britni and Jessi Quintana and proud papa to Aaliyah Jane Scott and soon-to-be-born grandbaby boy. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1984, and he was very passionate about cars, pursuing a career in the automotive industry. Darrin was preceded in death by his beautiful mother Jane and is survived by his father Conrad (Jackie) Quintana, daughters Britni and Jessi (Michael Scott) Quintana, granddaughter Aaliyah, girlfriend Melanie Enriquez, brother Conrad Jr. (Diane) Quintana along with nephews Corey, Andrew, Brandon, and niece Kelsie Quintana.
Darrin was an old soul and lifelong Ventura local, known as “Big D” to his many friends. He loved the beach, surfing, music, football, hockey, and classic cars, especially his 57 Chevy which has been in the family since 1957. He cherished every moment with his daughters and always looked forward to Saturday breakfast with his granddaughter.
A service will be held at Joseph P Reardon Funeral Home located at 757 E. Main St, Ventura, CA at 1pm on Wednesday 8/28/24, followed by a celebration of his life at Topa Topa Brewery located at 4880 Colt St, Ventura, CA at 3pm.
