James B. Benesty, 62, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born on May 2, 1962 in Inglewood, CA, a son of the late Frank Benesty and Marlene (Reingold) Monsein. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past 24 years, formerly living in Auburn, NH; Derry, NH; and Florida.
Jim’s journey began in Brockton, MA, where his enthusiasm for sports, motorcycles, and cars took root. His cherished 1969 Chevy Nova was a testament to his enduring passion and joy. In his later years, Jim discovered a profound love for travel, immersing himself in the rich histories of European destinations during numerous cruises. His curiosity extended to a lifelong quest for knowledge, often spending time researching diverse topics on his computer and sharing his discoveries with others. Jim was celebrated for his unwavering love, kindness, and commitment to his family. His unexpected passing has left a significant void in our hearts and lives.
Jim is survived by his wife of 33 years Lena (Burke) Benesty of Londonderry; his daughter, Alyssa Marie Morin and her husband Eric Morin of Marlborough, MA; and his son, Ian James Benesty of Londonderry. Jim was predeceased by his brother, William A. Benesty of N. Miami, FL.
