Janet F. (Centarrino) (Marcil) Clark, of Tewksbury, passed away after a long battle with illness on her 78th birthday at Blaire House of Tewksbury. She was the widow of the late Stanley C. Clark who passed away in 1995; and former wife of Robert E. Marcil Sr. who passed away in 2006.
She was born in Malden, MA on August 17, 1946 and was a daughter of the late Louis and Violet (Frisco) Centarrino. She was raised in Malden, where she attended the area schools.
Janet was employed for over 30 years as a bus driver for special needs adults and children, until her retirement. She was an active member of the DAV through her fathers service to our country. She loved arts, crafts, and crocheting. She enjoyed making centerpieces for family weddings and DAV events. She will be remembered for her warm personality and her love for others.
Surviving Janet are her children, her son, Robert E. Marcil Jr., of Georgia; two daughters, Carol-Lynn Marcil of Tewksbury, and Tanya Prescott of Tewksbury; three grandchildren, Joseph Marcil, Jason Marcil, and Trinity Silver, all of Tewksbury; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Eric, Isla, Wyatt, and Alexandra.
She is also survived by her brother, Louis Centarrino, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Leominster; two nieces, Laura Centarrino and her husband, Ryan and their daughters, Charlotte and Riley, and Lisa Centarrino and her daughter, Ella; her brother in law, John Marcil of Hudson, NH; and many cousins and other extended family.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her daughter, the late Janet Marie Marcil, and her son in law, the late Michael Prescott.

On Thursday, August 22, 2024 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 4-7 p.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, 978-851-2061. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m.. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett will take place privately.
