Philip G. Freeman, 90

Dateline: Raynham, MA

Philip G. Freeman, age 90, of Raynham, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Born in Attleboro, MA on February 21, 1934, he was a son of the late James and Hilda (Whiting) Freeman.

Phil grew up in Attleboro and had resided in Raynham for the past eight years. He was former thirteen-year resident of Taunton and also had lived in Mansfield.

He very much-loved attending his day programs and was most recently a participant at WISE Adult Day Health in Taunton and formerly at HMGA. Phil treasured the holidays, his favorite being the Christmas season and dancing to the sounds of Christmas music. Phil also enjoyed dining out, attending parties, watching the Red Sox and will always be remembered for having a “sweet tooth” for coffee.

He was the brother of the late Carol Firth. He is survived by his dear and special friends, Michael & Barbara Leary of Raynham and the staff at People Incorporated who cared for the Phil and the care, kindness and devotion they provided him.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, August 23rd at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton. Burial will be held privately at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M., prior to the funeral service at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
