Nancy was a kind and empathetic soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her greatest joy was making people smile, and she had a sense of humor and a light that made her a unique and cherished friend to so many. Her warmth and compassion were evident in everything she did, particularly in her love for animals.
A devout Catholic, Nancy's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She spent many happy years with her partner, Cliff, creating beautiful memories together. Nancy was also deeply dedicated to the World War II 83rd Infantry Division, known as "The Thunderbolt," where she organized communication and reunions for soldiers and their families, ensuring that the bonds were never forgotten.Nancy's greatest pride and joy was her family.Nancy had a lifelong fascination with the wonders of the natural world. She loved watching and studying thunderstorms and lightning, and had a passion for astronomy.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Monday, August 19, from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20, at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
