NEW HAMPTON ---- Lawrence "Larry" R. Stage, Jr., 65, of Gordon Hill Rd., died, Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center.
Larry led a full and vibrant life. He was the youngest of 11 children. He served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class on board the USS Comte De Grasse. He had a passion for stock car racing, anime, and video games. He was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
Larry's battle with ALS was a difficult one, but through it all, he remained strong and courageous. He faced each day with grace and dignity, never losing sight of the things that brought him joy.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bernie, Bob, John and Pat; and his sisters, Barbara and Patsy.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Stage; daughters, Mary and Samantha Stage; granddaughter, Ariel Stage; his siblings, Bill Holstine, Howie Holstine, Mary Moore and Bonnie Reeves; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Following Larry’s wishes, following cremation, his remains will be buried at sea by the US Navy.
A celebration of life will be held at the Ashland Booster Club on September, 14, 2024 from 7am-6pm.
