Regis A. Dufour passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Lewiston, ME to Omer and Lucia Dufour; Reggie was one of ten children. He graduated Brockton High School in 1976 and went on to become the V.P. of Sales at L.D. Plastics up until 2021.
Reggie is survived by his loving wife Deborah Dufour of West Roxbury; He was a beloved father to his children; Tanya Dufour and her partner Colin of Taunton; Cory Dufour and his partner Shavon of Taunton; Eric Dufour of Raynham; Anthony Haley of Roslindale; and Alexandra DiBella and her husband Nick of Lynnfield. Reggie adored his grandchildren Daylin, Aria, Caleb, and Grace. Reggie is also survived by his siblings; Marguerite, Caroline, Lina, Anita, Bernadette and Raymond. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Growing up, Reggie was fond of all outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golfing, and ice hockey. He especially enjoyed teaching his children how to fish for striped bass. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and loved watching Patriots games on Sundays. Reggie always looked forward to vacationing on tropical islands with his wife, Debbie, and having a drink on the beach. He appreciated grilling and hosting summertime cookouts on the deck. Although, what Reggie adored the most, was spending time with his family.
Reggie will always be remembered for his easy-going manner and kind smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury, Thursday, August 22nd from 8:30-9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St. West Roxbury at 10am. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Michael Cemetery.
