Bertha Anne Rozycki (99) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River.
Bertha was the daughter of the late Stacia and Walter Bonalewicz, and she was the loving wife of the late Chester Rozycki who was a proud firefighter for the City of Fall River, she was a devoted wife and always said there was no who could ever replace him.
Bertha worked in a sewing factory for her younger years, and cleaned houses. She was an avid & devoted parishioner of Good Shepard and life long catholic who valued religion. Bertha could be found frequently at the VFW on Fridays, she enjoyed Polka Dancing and nights at the liberal club with her friends. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, spending time with family and friends. If you knew her, then you would know how much she loved her grandchildren & family. She always lit up a room when she walked in, she was a great listener, and an extremely strong and proud women.
Bertha was predeceased in life by her husband Chester Rozycki, her daughter Karen Augustine, and her son in law Paul Augustine, and many brothers in sisters
Bertha leaves her legacy of love, strength, and laughter with her two amazing granddaughters whom she loved dearly, Chelsea and Lindsey Augustine
Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a public visitation on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 inside of the Southcoast - Boyko Funeral Home from 4 PM - 7 PM located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10AM at Good Shepherd Parish located at 1598 S Main St, Fall River. Burial will follow with Chapel Prayers in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
