Arthur Keen (Art) Smith age 73 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life after an extended illness.
Arthur Keen (Art) Smith was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on September 08, 1950 to the late Alonzo Keen and Linnie Thelma (Phillips) Smith and raised in Anderson, Indiana.
After graduating from Anderson High School, Art was drafted into the U.S. Army where he was repeatedly recognized for his service.
Three of Art’s passions in life were hunting, fishing, and competitive shooting. He was a trophy bass fisherman, as well as an excellent and recognized marksman. Art worked for General Motors for 30 years until he retired. He was a member at Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son Tom (Lauren) Smith, brothers Don Smith of New Castle, Indiana and Ken Smith of Ocean Shores, WA, three grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Beverly Gail Smith, Peggy Lynn Smith, Polly Sue Smith.
A Celebration of life service with Military honors will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at East Maplewood Cemetery.
