Charlene's journey led her through cosmetology school, where she honed her skills in styling duck tails and updos for the fashionable ladies of Medford (LOL). However, her true joy came from being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived in Georgia before returning to Massachusetts in 2008. She and her family have a special place in their hearts for the time they spent in Hawai'i.
A petite woman at 4'10", Charlene affectionately referred to herself as a Mini Guinea. Known for her culinary talents, quick wit, sassy demeanor, risqué humor, and colorful language, she will be fondly remembered for her delicious meals and spirited personality. Her love extended to her cherished chihuahua Ruby and pitbull Chance, whom she adored.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Charlene will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the American Legion Marsh Post 442, 5 Greenough Blvd, Cambridge, with a prayer service commencing at 1:30 pm. An Italian buffet will be served.
In the spirit of Aloha ‘Aina (love for the land), may she find eternal peace and rest in nature's embrace. A Hui Hou (until we meet again).
