Michael “Mike” Belanger, 73, of East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick passed away on Sunday August 11th in his home and surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Shelia (Quinn) Belanger. They had been married for 54 years.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, a son of the late Leonard and Theresa (Desjardins) Belanger. He had lived in West Warwick for 17 years previously living in Warwick, RI.
Mike had been a Bindery Operator of Sheehan Printing for 20 years before retiring.
He liked playing golf, sailing and old western movies.
Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Melissa McCarthy of North Kingstown and was the father of the late Heather Davis and her husband Michael Davis of Woonsocket, RI, his granddaughters, Kayleigh Baillargeon, Courtney VanWormer both of Coventry, Catherine Davis of Kingman. AZ and a grandson, Robert Belanger of Millville, MA. He had twelve great-grand children.
He was the brother of Theresa St Pierre of North Attleboro, MA , Norman Belanger of Attleboro, MA, Juliette Gagnon of South Attleboro, MA, Patricia Belanger of Florida, Raymond Belanger of Central Falls. Brother of the late Hank Belanger of Florida and Jeanne Beardsworth of Attleboro, MA.
All services will be private.
