Gladys W. (Oliver) Bryant, 95, of Anderson passed away on August 13, 2024 at Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.
She was born on April 20, 1929 in Sparta, Tennessee to Dillard and Amanda (Hutson) Oliver.
She worked production at Guide Lamp for 30 years and retired in 1984. She was a member of UAW 663. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning her home and especially loved her family.
She is survived by her son, John (Bonnie) Bryant of Anderson; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Martin and Jeff (Waylena) Bryant; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Rae and Rylie Nicole Martin; special friends, Linda and Larry Stevenson and Ron and Judy Mundy; several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John D. Bryant Jr.; a son, Bruce Allen Bryant; five sisters and three brothers.
Graveside Service will be at 11:30am on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
