SHLUZAS, Sandra L. (Wrolstad) Longtime resident of Millis, passed away on August 10, 2024. Beloved wife of Edward A. Shluzas. Devoted mother of Alan Shluzas and his wife Lauren Aquino-Shluzas, Sherie Anderson and her husband Stephen, and Peggy Benoit and her husband Michael. Loving grandmother of Audrey Shluzas, John Anderson, and Lucas Anderson. Dear sister of Becky Zenthoefer and the late Keith Wrolstad. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a sincere, caring and loving person. She had a great sense of humor and nothing made her laugh more than Edward’s jokes. Class and sass was Sandy. She enjoyed shopping, dining, and the finer things of life. She loved to explore the world and her first great adventure leaving the farm, began a life-long love and partnership with Edward, 52 years of marriage, 3 kids and 3 grandkids. Sandra was devoted to her faith of the Lord. She was an avid gardener, interior designer, and holistic health advocate. From coast to coast, Sandra cherished her time with family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, August 13th from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 14th at 11:30am. Interment to follow at the Gardens Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury, 02132. Reception to follow at Primavera, 20 Pleasant Street, Millis, MA 02054. Family and friends are welcome to all events.
