Patrice A. (Houle) Brault, age 63, passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease. Patrice was born on June 2, 1961 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Jean Lucien Houle and Mary Adele (Tonelli) Kelly. She dedicated many years of her life working as a clerk for the Chicopee District Court, where she was known for her dedication and work ethic. In addition to her professional achievements, Patrice cherished her role as a mother above all else. She took time off from her career to be a devoted stay-at-home mom to her two children, Robert and Jacqueline. Her unwavering love and support were the foundation of her family, and she took immense pride in her children’s accomplishments. Patrice is survived by her son, Robert Brault of Chicopee; her daughter Jacqueline Peloquin and her husband, Michael Peloquin of Enfield, CT and the father of her children, Robert Brault of Virginia. She is also survived by her siblings; John Houle, Denise Houle- Kukahiko, Katherine Houle, James Houle and Anna Kelly-Niziolek. Patrice was cherished by many including all her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She will always be remembered for her incredible pride in her children and her remarkable role as a mother. Patrice’s legacy of love, strength and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
