M. Gertrude “Gert” (Fennelly) Wilson, lifelong resident of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th. She was 100 years old. Born and raised in Medford, she was the cherished daughter of the late William C. and Catherine Fennelly. Gert had a vibrant and witty personality. She loved everyone, and was loved in return. Gert made friends everywhere she went and was known to be everyone’s “Auntie”.
Gert was the beloved wife of the late Robert Saunders Wilson. She was the dear sister of the late William C. Fennelly. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit with Gertrude’s family in Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Monday, August 12th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gertrude’s memory to a charity of ones choice.
