FRANKLIN ---- Ida M. Maltzie, 91, of North Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Concord Hospital – Franklin.
Ida was born on September 3, 1932, in Pittsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Walter H. Santmyer and Katherine (Loether) Santmyer.
Ida was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was a family-oriented woman who adored her children. Ida enjoyed needlepoint, music, taking care of and spending time with her dogs and kept her mind sharp with puzzles, reading and art.
Ida is survived by her son John E. Maltzie and his wife Marie. She is predeceased by her loving husband John C. Maltzie and her eldest child, June K. Maltzie (Cooper), and her brother-in-law Bill Maltzie.
A private graveside service will be held in the family plot at Town House Cemetery, Tuftonboro, NH.
