Emilie Jean Howard, 63, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 4th 2024.
She was born on March 11th 1961 in Central Falls to Paul and Vivian Breault. Emilie was an artist from birth whether it be with a brush or pen. She attended St. Raphaels and graduated in 1979. She then pursued her love for nursing and attended CCRI where she gained her nursing license as a LPN. She worked at Highland Court and Summit Medical for the better part of 20 years. This is where she met the love of her life, Tim Howard, where he worked as an x-ray tech. Emilie also had a passion for animals, movies and books.. She followed her dream to become a writer and had her works published independently.
Family was everything to her. Emilie was predeceased by her mother Vivian Breault, her husband of 39 years Tim Howard, and her son Travis Howard. She is survived by her father Eugene Breault, her son Jesse Howard and her daughters Tanya Howard and Deana Salisbury. Emilie was also survived by her brothers Michael Breault, Pete Breault and her sister Cathy Yablonski. She had many nieces and nephews and was loved by her grandchildren Riley Salisbury, Rowan Salisbury, Jase Howard, Ava Howard and Nora Howard.
Emilie did not want a traditional funeral ceremony, but instead wanted a Celebration of Life. We will be holding this celebration on Saturday, August 24th from 1-6pm at Little Rhody Vasa Park in Foster, RI.
