Haily Brooke Spires, 29, of Eastman, Georgia, died Monday, August 5, 2024, in New York City, New York.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, August 16, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Haily was born July 24, 1995, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Charles Tracy Spires and Cindy Lynn Dennis Hopson. The most important and love of her life was her daughter, Gabby. She enjoyed fishing, music, shopping, riding four wheelers and spending time with her family. Haily will be remembered for her sense of humor.
She is survived by her father, Tracy & Wanda Spires of Eastman; her mother, Cindy & Allen Hopson of Mystic; a daughter, Gabriela “Gabby” Marie Cook; three brothers: Paul Hutchinson & Katlyn of Fitzgerald, Daniel Spires & Heather of Eastman and Barry Spires & Emily of Arkansas; grandparents: Geraldine Dennis of Fitzgerald, Charles Spires of Eastman, and Polly Spires of Eastman; and her best friend Maggie Scarborough. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by grandparents: James Dennis and Joyce Spires and uncle and aunt, Ray & Trendie Spires.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
