Eugenia Moore-Jenkins “Gina” age 66, of Brockton, passed away on July 27, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of the late Ellison Jenkins, Jr. Born in Sanford, FL, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Moore and Alfreda (Glover) Miller.
Gina worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. During her time as a CNA, she worked at St. Joseph's Manor in Brockton and Burgoyne Rest Home Dorchester. She also was a bus operator for the MBTA.
She loved her home and took pride in cutting her own lawn and maintaining her yard. A lover of seafood, Eugenia enjoyed going out for dinner,
A loving and caring person, she was also known to be outspoken and would often tell it like it is. You could always count on her as she was helpful and a very sweet lady. Gina also enjoyed thrift shopping and was no stranger to a good bargain.
She leaves her three daughters, Eugenia Moore and her significant other Alexton of Brockton, Malea Pleasant of Atlanta, GA, and Tiffany Pleasant of Boston; four grandchildren Marquis Moore, Robert Barrow IV, Xavier Barrow, and Joseph Reed; and a great granddaughter, Lily Moore. Eugenia was the sister of the late Nancy Glover.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 10:45 am, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne.
