Nechelle Mae Morris-Nett affectionately known as Nishi, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Ventura, California at the age of 53.
Born on February 26, 1971, in Santa Barbara, California, Nechelle grew into a profoundly giving and loving individual, deeply admired for her kindness and generosity.
Nechelle's life was marked by her dedication to helping others, particularly the homeless, providing shelter and meals whenever possible. Her beautiful spirit touched everyone she met, from all walks of life.
Nechelle's commitment to personal growth was evident in her recent accomplishment of earning an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Ventura College, having previously attended San Bernardino College.
Professionally, Nechelle served as a Customer Service Representative at Southern California Edison and Verizon, roles in which she was well-respected for her work ethic and compassion. Her faith played a significant role in her life, actively participating in the community of Evangelistic Baptist Church in Port Hueneme.
Nechelle was also passionate about the outdoors, particularly fishing and camping. She held fond memories of her time at Oxnard High, where she was not only a cheerleader but also received the Most Valuable Plaver award for the
basketball team.
She leaves behind her loving family: mother Rebecca Claytor, father Willie Claytor, brother LeVon Morris, daughters Ashley Mariah and Gabrielle Nett, son Jordan Michael Kimbrough, and grandchildren Anthony, Anayelli, Maelena, Alex, Marley, and Emilio. Details of the memorial services will be announced at a later date.

this time. In lieu of lowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Societv in Nechelles memory, Her legacy of kindness and community spirit will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
