Obituary

Debra A. (Stoddard) Gerber 63, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 3rd, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

She leaves her loving husband of 34 years, Matthew Gerber; her son, Nicholas, who was her entire world, and his girlfriend, Clancy; Cameron Perkins, whom she considered her adopted son; her fur babies, Zoe and Peanut; a brother, Thomas Miglianico; a sister, Donna Gully; brothers-in-law, Michael Gerber and his wife, Laurie and Robert Gerber and his wife, Michelle; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Sandra (Leo) Migliancio, and her father Thomas Migliancio.
Debra was a true dedicated friend to everyone she knew. If you were her friend, you were like family, and she would always stand by you. There were many people she had met through the years, which she took under her wing, many becoming part of her extended family and her extra children that she always looked out for.

Debra was an avid dart player for the past 6 years. Her team won the Division 3 Championship three times. She would never boast about her talents, but her proud husband would for her. She was the Top Women Shooter in the 2023 Southbridge league. She always had a great time with her teammates and opponents during matches. She would get enjoyment on the nights she would outshoot her husband, Matt.
Debra also enjoyed the past 27 years camping with Matt as seasonal Campers. They made many lifelong friends while camping at Cold Brook Campground in Barre, Peaceful Pines Campground in Templeton, and most recently, Pout & Trout Campground, in Rutland. You would often see Deb riding on her golf cart with her fur babies. She also enjoyed crocheting! She made several baby blankets over the years for friends, and their soon to be grand kids. One of her most treasured projects was a hat she made for a camp friend battling cancer.

Debra will be deeply missed by all that knew her, especially her husband, Matthew who was the love of her life, and her son, Nicholas.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10th beginning at 11:30am in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 10th from 10:00am until the start of the service in the funeral home.
