Nancy A. Bramwell, 63

Nancy A. (Thatcher) Bramwell, age 63, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey A. Bramwell, to whom she was wed on October 14, 1979.
Born in Attleboro, MA on February 14, 1961, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles L., Jr. and Nancy M. (Reed) Thatcher.
Nancy was a 1979 graduate of Norton High School and received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and retired as the Head Cook at the Henri A. Yelle Elementary School in Norton. She was previously employed as classroom teacher at Butler Day Care Center in Norton, helped in the operations of her husband’s family business’s; the former Pleasant Pharmacy in Attleboro and at Barrowsville Station in Norton. She had also worked as a waitress in the VIP section at the former Tweeter Center in Mansfield.
Nancy’s close-knit family, whom she loved dearly, was the guiding point of her life and she was ever-so-proud of being a grandmother. As a child, she went to Camp Marion in Marion and later enjoyed spending time at Saquish Beach in Plymouth, vacationing in Vermont and Falmouth and along with her husband Jeff, collecting Owl Statues. Nancy attended and taught Sunday School at the former Advent Christian Church in Attleboro, had a green thumb for gardening and held a special love in her heart for her late Jack Russell Terrier “LuLu”.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving and devoted sons, Christopher G. Bramwell and his wife Stephanie of North Dighton, Michael A. Bramwell and his wife Elizabeth of Norton and Matthew C. Bramwell of Norton. She was the cherished grandmother of Bennett Bramwell and Briar Bramwell. She was the dear sister of Audry Fontneau and her husband Edward of Attleboro, Charles L. Thatcher, III of Norton, Shirley Eddleston of Norton, Allen Thatcher and his wife Larri of Florida, Philip Thatcher of Middleboro and the late Ida Coffey. She is also survived by her Bramwell brother-in-law’s and their families, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, August 12th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton. Burial will be private.
