Lana Donovan of Weymouth passed away on July 29th, 2024 comfortably at home with her family after a five year battle with lung disease. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Alan Robertson and also the sister of the late Debbie Robertson. Lana leaves behind her husband Mark Donovan of Weymouth ,her son Mark Karlson also of Weymouth, her sister Judy Belyea of Randolph, two very close friends of over 50 years, Mary and Linda, a very special nephew, Alan Belyea, family in Germany, and David Belyea and his family of Falmouth. She had many brothers and sisters-in-law whom she loved and many many nieces and nephews.
Lana was born in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. She moved to Weymouth in 2000. She was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease in 2019 and we would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Richard Black, Dr. Kamran Manzoor, and the doctors of the lung clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital for their dedication and honesty to Lana about her disease and overall well being. We would also like to thank Beacon Hospice for their wonderful care over the last few months.
