James "Jim" S. Loki, 42, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on July 31, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the longtime husband of Vanessa Burns of Tewksbury, and they would have celebrated their 21st anniversary in a few weeks.
Born on May 13, 1982, in Edison, New Jersey, Jim was the son of the late Linda M. (Majewski) Craig and the late James S. Loki Sr. He grew up in Central New Jersey, graduated from high school in South River, and relocated to Massachusetts in 2003.
Jim was a joyful, fun-loving man with a fantastic sense of humor and a quick wit. He was a talented musician who played many instruments, mostly the guitar, and an amazing artist who loved to draw and paint. He hosted a podcast, had a keen interest in space and ufology, and was an excellent cook. Jim had a special place in his heart for animals, deeply missing his longtime companions, his dogs Sunny and Skippy.
In addition to his beloved wife, Vanessa, he leaves behind his children, Christopher, Samantha, and Brooke; his stepfather, Nick Craig; his grandfather, Chet Majewski; and many friends, including his close friends Sarah Blake, Kristen Hessler, Jay Ingstrup, Joe Sicari, and Robin Lassiter. Jim was also the grandson of the late Emily Majewski.
Jim's presence brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
All are welcome to attend his visitation on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10am until 12pm at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
