LUDLOW – Linda E. Guyott, 76, of Ludlow and a longtime resident of the Fairview section of Chicopee. Linda passed away on July 31, 2024 surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family, friends, and wonderful caregivers. She was born in Holyoke on April 15, 1948, a beloved daughter of the late Victor H. and Loretta M. (Fournier) Guyott. She was raised and educated in Chicopee where she lived for most of her life. Linda enjoyed listening to country music and loved to watch classic game shows on television. She attended many of the Jericho dances held at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee and will be deeply missed by her friends at Sunshine Village. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She leaves her two loving brothers, Roger A. Guyott and his wife, Clarice, of Ludlow, and Armand R. Guyott and his wife, Sandra, of Chicopee; her loving sister, Pauline Witter of Granby; and her many dear nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, and extended family members. She will also be greatly missed by her friends and caregivers at the group home where she resided in Ludlow. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dear stepmother, Geraldine L. “Terry” (Travis) Lapierre Guyott; and her dear brother in law, Dwight Witter. Her Burial Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. There are no visiting hours. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
