Mary King (Sheehan) Barrett, 84, a resident of Easton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on July 27. She was the wife of the late John (Jack) Barrett.
Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Lewis F. and Barbara K. Sheehan, Mary was a graduate of Brockton High School.
Mary worked as a Subrogation Specialist at Aetna and Trust Insurance for 25 years. She loved spending time on the Cape and Florida and time with family, enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots, trips to the casino and her scratch tickets.
She is survived by her 4 children: Kathleen (Hollis) Humphrey and her husband William of Easton, Marcia (Hollis) Spencer of Easton, Robert D’Amadio and his wife Erin of Plainville and Christopher D’Amadio and his wife Elizabeth of Brockton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Emslie, Amy Rutzen, Katie Smith, John Spencer, William Humphrey II, Michael Humphrey, Ava D’Amadio, Alex D’Amadio, Jordan D’Amadio and Jayden D’Amadio and her sister Martha Magnoli of Sunrise, FL and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Matthew Joseph Smith, a son Richard Mark and her brothers Mark Sheehan and Michael Sheehan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass/Memorial Service at the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, North Easton at 10:30am on Saturday, August 10th. In lieu of a wake, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Mary’s life at Thorny Lea Golf Course at 159 Torrey St. Brockton at 12PM on August 10th.
