Therese F. Quinn of Salem, N.H., died peacefully and in loving care Monday July 24, 2006 at her home. She was 79. Mrs. Quinn was born April 3, 1927, in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Robert and Blanche Gosselin.
She was deeply honored to be a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother loving sister and friend. She performed her life’s work with love, trust, faith and courage. She had a special connection to each of her children and provided a foundation based on unconditional love that will last into future generations.
Mrs. Quinn was an extremely kind woman and deeply spiritual woman who loved to share and give back to her community. She valued each person she met and had an open door policy at her home, for anyone needing a safe place to fall. She was an active community member; involved in Headstart, Community Tri-County CAP, Salem Lady Lions, and the Mary Queen of Peace Church, where she was a member of the Women’s Guild and a Eucharistic Minister. She found great pleasure and support in dear friends fondly nick named the Golden Girls.
She was predeceased by her husband Leo Quinn, and a Son Richard Quinn.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 28 at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 27 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
